I had to retire from two of three races this weekend at VIR as it started raining in the middle of the race, and I don’t have the resources to change tires mid-race.
In the 3rd race of the weekend I started off ok and then just began driving poorly about half-way through the race. So all in all a forgetful weekend but next week I’ll be in Montreal with F1! W0hoo!

“No bueno” is also common slang for “Holy shit” in Spanish, albeit a bit less vulgar :)

There were a few “Holy shit” moments, too. =oP

So how much you have in the car at this point?

The car was ready to go when I got it, so we just painted it and bought some spares for when I inevitably crash. A weekend of racing is between $1,000-3,000 depending on how competitive the series is.

That’s a bummer you had to stop. I LOVE racing in the rain.

Me too! That’s one of the most frustrating parts. If it started raining before the race I’d have been fine.
